In the past, I’ve worked with many professors in an academic environment and I’m struck by the similarities between them and Obama. Both have huge egos. Both have their theories. Neither have real world experience. Neither truly understands the working class. Both are intelligent but lack common sense.
When I see Obama make his many gaffes and obvious miscalculations, I see a professor who is in way over his head. A man that at least in the short term will diminish the U.S. and in the long term, if he is not controlled, will cripple us beyond repair.
Think about it.

First of all, there are levels of arrogance in the professional world. Comparing Obama to a Professor is wrong.
Egos- Joe, Professors are not the only ones that have overinflated egos. Politicians have the cornerstone on that quality, which is demonstrated by Obama as well as almost every other Politician that strives for the White House. Actually, one must have an ego to want to be the “leader of the free world”. Professors, are egoists in their own communities and do not give a damn what a broader audiences perception entails.
Real World Work Experience- WRONG. He was a financial analyst, community organizer, and an attorney. You can’t even compare the two; Professors generally go through their undergraduate directly into graduate programs only to get a job at a university. The point is they never leave ONE work environment, so life outside the University does not exist. Obama’s background is in finances, public service, education and civil rights law, which are a variety of fields and work environments (just because you lack knowledge of the fields does not mean that they are all the same–and you better not be shitting on Public Service because those would be fighting words!)
Working Class- are you kidding me??? He was raised in a working class home by his mother and grandparents. Are you saying that he no longer understands the working class because he has achieved a higher economic status??? Should he be punished for working hard to achieve a higher status? Wait! Should I reference your previous rant or do you get the point?
As for your other comments— What American President is without gaffes and miscalculations? I think everyone gets your point that you don’t like Obama’s policies, but my question to you is are you bias then of everything that he does? Don’t answer that in defense mode, it is something that you might seriously want to consider…

PS “A man that at least in the short term will diminish the U.S. and in the long term, if he is not controlled, will cripple us beyond repair.”
That is not the way our government is set up; the legislative process is long and sluggish. No one politician can create real change quickly. AND shame on you: that is exactly what the far left said about George W. So, you are reducing yourself to far left extreme statements…aren’t you the one who is always on the attack about that behavior? It makes any good point obsolete when you become what you are criticizing…think about it.
